The song was written on VE Day 2020 and the final recording has been released in time for the VE Day weekend 2021. Greg says "The song is about overcoming adversity and the lyrical themes were influenced by the World War II footage shown on TV during the VE Day celebrations and the struggles that we were experiencing during the first Coronavirus lockdown".
